Stefanie Hudspeth is an academic painter, born in Canada. Raised in Dubrovnik, she began her education at Art School Luka Sorkočević.
She completed her BFA in Fine Arts Studio at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. After returning to Croatia, she completed her MFA in Painting under the guidance of artist Duje Jurić at the University of Fine Arts in Zagreb.
She has taken part in three solo shows and numerous group exhibits in Rochester, Los Angeles, Zagreb and Dubrovnik. Her concepts are inspired by the aesthetic of the human and animal forms which both serve as vessels in aiding her in producing extensions of her inner dispositions. Through topics of self-image and self-expression, she portrays the ever-changing passions of the human condition. The recurring shape of the bull provides a consistent source of inspiration in the majority of her works.
She lives and works in Zagreb and is a part of HDLU ( Croatian association of fine artists) and IAA ( International Association of Art).
